We came across Kino Café by accident. We wanted a meal before a 9:30 film at the Park Theatre and the other restaurants I had read about in the neighbourhood were full, with line-ups out the door (thank you, Dine Out Vancouver). My husband noticed...the “tapas bar” sign on the sidewalk so we went into the Kino Café. Had a GREAT time! Tasty tapas, big servings, a jug of cheap red wine. Rickety rustic décor which we really appreciated. Most places in Vancouver are too chi-chi for me. Great flamenco music and dancing. We were reluctant to leave for our movie and would love to go back.
