Meeting up with friends we haven’t seen for a while is always great. Nothing like going for a banquet style dinner at a chinese food restaurant. We started off with their Peking (Beijing) Duck and loved the crispiness of the skin. It seemed liked it...was smallish but the flavour made up for it. Next up is one of my favourite vegetables. Pea sprouts! Simply blanched and then cooked with garlic, it’s sooooo good! Then the duck lettuce wrap is always a nice second part of the Peking Duck experience. We also ordered what I call deep fried shrimp slathered in mayo and topped off with honey crusted walnuts. Might sound weird but the combo is delicious. Can’t have a meal without sweet & sour pork! And their seafood e-fu noodles in a hot pot was excellent. Loved that they had it in a hot pot which kept it hot even at the end of our meal :)More
