Checked Trip Advisor for a deli near our hotel. Best reviews were Reuben’s. Discovered there are actually 2 establishments ( the deli and a deli/steakhouse ). We did the latter. Used server’s recommendation for a Famous Super Sandwich (not on menu - 1/2 pound vs...3/4 pound on menu) smoked meat on rye with pickle, coleslaw and fries. Absolutely the BEST ever. Would go back in a heartbeat. Sorry, didn’t leave room for the cheesecake or chocolate cake which looked fabulous … maybe next time. Also had a Reuben sandwich with poutine - very good, but not in same league as the smoked meat on rye. Poutine was good, but prefer hand cut fries vs shoestring fries for poutine. Plenty of delicious cheese curds though. Definitely returning to this funky place. Great vibe between staff and patrons, good music. Jeremy was an excellent and knowledgeable server. Will return and would recommend to a friend.
