Well we didn't even make it to our "table". We followed all the protocols for the reservation for this place. When we got there our "table" wasn't ready and we were told to wait outside. NOT inside where there were a couple of chairs available....We had to stand outside in the cold. After about 15 minutes or so and seeing other people go into the restaurant and not come back out we assumed they had been seated. We went back in and asked again. Again the person said our table wasn;t ready. Now my confusion lies with the fact that if there is a 90 minute window to eat or whatever why was the table not ready .? who was still sitting there ? When I questioned the person basically calling him out, he became defensive, did not like what I had to say told me he did not like my attitude and said that we had to leave and our table was no longer available. May I point out I doubt it ever was. So after some back and forth we left. we went to a pub where the drinks were not $20 and had the best time with friendly staff . I would not recommend this place. It appears to me we were bumped for some reason, and I feel our age was a factor. The hipster establishement perhaps does not like over 50's frequenting their elitist place. Just a bad experience over all. I have never been asked to leave a restaurant because I showed some frustration and asked some questions about a table that we booked and yes also had to give over a credit card number and were told we had to be there on time etc. Also from the responses from the owner from other reviews, they are taking no responsiblity whatsoever as to taking any ownership on their part. Excuses Excuses. End of.
