I had never been to the Aussie Rules Piano Bar before but joined a group of girlfriends recently for a night out. There is an huge, amazing mural on the wall featuring different musical artists which is fantastic! Two pianos and a drum kit sit...underneath the mural on a raised stage and there are tables in front of that with another raised area that features booths. We chose a booth for the six of us and had a great view of the stage. We each ordered wine or beer (I had a Fitzsimmons "Outdoor Rink" Cream Ale for $7.15) and then some appies that we all shared. Those were boneless ribs, pickle fries and mini perogies. All were decent and the pickle fries had a nice little bite to them! The server we had was very good and informative. The ladies washroom was very clean. The dueling piano show was awesome! There were three guys that evening who rotated between the pianos and also took song requests from the audience who submitted many. The performances were really fabulous; they are very talented musicians! I could've stayed all night listening to the music! I definitely want to go back and take my husband.
