One of Winnipeg’s hidden gem! Been to a lot of dim-sum places in Chinatowns of other major cities in Canada, and Noodle Express has set the bar high for us that we can never find another dim-sum place like it! We’ve been eating here for...more than 5 years now as our go-to for dim-sum in Winnipeg and it has never dissapointed. Over the years, their quality had never changed! They don’t cheap out on ingredients especially for their pork dumplings (shao mai). It’s truly packed with meat, unlike other dumpling places where they put peas, and cubed carrots and stuff just to save on ingredients and make their dumplings look bigger. We like the people that works here too, they are nice and friendly and prompt with your orders. The place might not be as fancy, but if you need a fancy place for date nights with the same food quality, the restaurant across them are owned by them too with the same food quality and taste! We’ve seen this business take over the other dim-sum restaurant across them! I believe the first 2 dim-sum restaurants in the building across them closed down already until we saw them took over and now they are thriving! Such humble beginnings! I’m glad I do not have to go far and look further for the best dumplings ever as it is just right here in the heart of Winnipeg!More
