We were looking for a good dinner close to home and this place delivered. At 6:30 on a Friday we had our choice of table even though we reserved. Service was friendly and prompt. We shared the crab cakes which were pan fried and had...a healthy amount of mixed greens with balsamic vinaigrette on the side. They were tasty but missing that bit of crispiness that I was looking for. The house made tartar sauce was light and complemented nicely. Overall It was a good salad to have as a main course and I enjoyed it. The salad Nicoise came with a nice piece of tuna cooked medium. The arugula salad was a bit dry but perhaps I could have tossed it. The cherry tomatoes, hard boiled egg, green beans, carrot and olives provided a nice balance of flavours. The potatoes were dry. The seared rib eye, arugula, spinach and gorgonzola salad comes with a hefty amount of tender, tasty steak and nicely tossed greens. Both salads are nice summer options when you want something a little lighter. We had a nice table for two and the server was attentive to our needs. We had a really nice dinner in a pleasant environment.
