Honestly, I have read some of these reviews and when people are writing this off as a "dive bar", they are being way too critical, and probably haven't gone here long enough or stayed long enough to really "get" this place and all of the...hard working people at the bar and the bands who put their heart and soul into playing music in a small city EVERY NIGHT during a PANDEMIC! There are VERY FEW places that do music "eight days a week" like they put on their sign and it really is a wonderful place. So....this place is incredible. Rainshadow Al is the true STAR of the show...the man is kind, talented and on Sundays you can sign up for his open mic and bring your own mic to sing or do what you do. He is incredible. He plays acoustic, electric and any other kind of guitar. I have sung at the open mic AND stayed at the hotel, and I have got to say that I am truly touched by all of the wonderful people here. I hope Al doesn't mind giving him a loving "plug" on this site because he deserves it. The SPAGHETTI here is to die for! I am an American desperately trying to get out to move to Canada and this place has become home to me.
