I see that my review from this past April remains the most recent review of Wasabi. My wife and I recently gave the place's take-out sushi another try, and were pleasantly surprised. Everything tasted fresher and was more flavourful than the last time. We will...order from them again. Meanwhile, I have since had a very bad experience at Double 8 Sushi, which I had recommended in place of Wasabi. When I tried to order from them last month, and asked them to place a couple of the maki rolls in a separate container or my daughter (due to her stomach intolerance of certain ingredients in the other rolls), they wanted to penalize me by taking away the bonus rolls to which I was entitled for the size of the order. They said that by having to separate the order into different containers, it counted as 2 orders (despite the fact that they were making only one bill), and that the price of neither order was high enough for the bonus roll. No matter how hard I tried, I could not convince the restaurant otherwise. I proceeded to cancel the order and to tell them that their stupidity has caused them to lose a customer who ordered from them on a monthly basis. DOUBLE 8 SUSHI DOES NOT DESERVE ANYONE'S BUSINESS.
