2 Bytes… TASTE. Pork, Shrimp & Vegetable Soup, Gai Lan, Lobster Roll, Pork Dumplings & Singaporean Noodles. & TALK. We were both craving an authentic Dim Sum experience and adventured over to Winnipeg’s Chinatown, just a short walk from the financial district. Sam Po didn’t...disappoint with efficient and prompt service and traditional Chinese dishes. We definitely over ordered for 2 people, but agreed it’s one of the best parts of the Dim Sum experience - trying ALL of the things! Highlights were the delicate Singaporean noodles with salty fish sauce, the Pork Dumplings drizzled with pink vinegar and tender crisp Gai Lan greens balanced by the oyster sauce’s sweet glaze. Drink pairings brought back memories for both of us - B reminisced of his days in China, sipping Tsing Tao ? while I was reminded of days in Toronto’s Chinatown dining Dim Sum on Sunday afternoons with friends, sipping diet Coke!?More
