Our first night in Quebec City, on a cold and rainy night, and we were walking past this place and feeling hungry, so we dropped in for some filling chicken and fries. The cooks in the open kitchen were much friendlier than the hostess who...barked instructions at us to explain how we were supposed to order here. You order and pay. The cooks bring your food, as this is apparently beneath the totally unfriendly hostess who "greeted" us in a totally unfriendly manner. We also saw her leave her post and walk around the kitchen, looking at orders, while wearing no hair net. Kitchen hygiene, anyone? Based on the reception we received here, we would not return, even though the chicken was good and the cooks who brought our food were much friendlier to us than she was.
