Steckle Heritage Farm is a non-profit, community-based organization dedicated to providing agricultural, environmental and cultural programs to children and families in the Region of Waterloo.
Settled in 1833 and now designated a heritage property by the City of Kitchener, the J. Steckle Heritage Homestead is a unique working farm and educational facility, dedicated to providing a hands on farming experience to children and their families. All programs, tours, and activities developed at Steckle Heritage Farm are founded on the values of building an inclusive and safe community, developing appreciation for the importance of agriculture in our daily lives, and getting back to the simple joys in life.
