Delicious food, great service and good value for high quality food.
Second visit. Enjoyed the first one so had to come back. Location is great. Our server was very knowledgable about the variety of beers plus she had a great cheerful manner. I’m sure we will be back.
My husband and I had a delicious brunch at this restaurant this past Saturday. Food was terrific and the service was friendly. My husband had the pancakes-said they were the best he’s ever had-quite a vote of confidence from a pancake specialist. I had the smoked salmon on rosti with poached eggs beet tepanade and creme fraise. The scones are also yummy. Lovely funky place. We will be returning very soon.
Look the look and feel of this place. Service was excellent! Very attentive. Loved the wine, cheese plate so so, lentil chilli was tasty but WAY too much sauce. I will go back and give it another go!
Second time back, Still love the ambience, but food is moderate at best. The white bean dip is not good, flavorless. The cauli app is so small and okay, not worth the $12! I would go back for drinks…..not ordering food ever! I really like the vibe of the place and the location. And today’s service was not as good as the last time I was here.
Consistently great and friendly service at both the bar and tables. Warm ambiance and a delicious variety of beers and wines. Delightful solo or with a gang at the long tables! Multiple repeat customer and will go back again.
I took my mom out to dinner and a show at the hart house theatre! Dinner at The Wickson Social was absolutely the perfect start to our evening!
We arrived early and that was no problem. Great tasting food and definitely a place to go back too.
Always enjoyable place to grab a beer and a bite to eat. Staff consistently enthusiastic- even on a cold wintery day! Appreciated the lunch recommendations and had a really good time.
Tremendous value for Winterlicious lunch menu @ $23. Each course was creative and delicious. Will definitely return on CAA Theatre nights or other Yonge-Bloor ventures.
Food is incredible. Definitely a chefs touch. Server was very knowledgeable, this is a great place for a refined dining experience.
The drinks were good, the food and service were excellent! We will definitely go back
We met friends for dinner before the theatre and were on a tight timeline. The service was expert – friendly and relaxed in feel while crisp in timing, getting us to the show on time. We all appreciated the beer and wine recommendations. Everyone enjoyed their food – from a great hand chopped burger to steamed PEI mussels. Our guests were thrilled to have been invited and we have already planned to return.
Staff went out of their way to accommodate us – thank you
Food and service was great. Would definitely eat here again. Two people, apps and mains with one glass of vino for $120 including tip (20%). We dined in the back portion of the restaurant and it was nice and quiet. The front part didn’t seem too bad, but it was definitely noisier.
Experience was good overall. We were there for brunch. One thing I thought I would mention was that if coffee is not bottomless it should be mentioned. (Most brunch/breakfast menus offer this)
We picked a very quiet day (Tuesday lunchtime) so the ambience was a little lacking – no fault of the venue, just timing. Fantastic British style proper gastro pub. Great food, good service.
