Great evening but just a bit to cold in the cellar
Very heavy handed on the dressing. We each had about a cup of dressing on our salad so it was very hard to eat. The restaurant is very old and beat up. It’s in desperate need of a renovation. Server, Cooper was great.
Requested outdoor dining but we were happy to sit inside as the heat was unbearable outside in direct sunlight at 39°C Discovered hair in our bread as well as hair in my wife’s blackened chicken Oscar. Manager handled it nicely omitting it from our bill yet we ended up receiving her meal much later so we didn’t get to eat the same time. Out of all places in whistler we chose the Keg but that experience put a bit of a damper on our Anniversary night. Kudos to the Server “Justin” as he was a great guy! Based on the Kegs quality I was surprised this happened and may opt for a different dining experience next time while in Whistler.

The servers were excellent. The major disappointment was our meals. We both had the new halibut. I get that you are trying for a healthy/low carb/low cal option but there are so many ways to make this dish better. It came out, bland looking and bland tasting. Even throw a couple of herbs on top would have made it better. It was like someone was trying to recreate a hospital meal. No need in this days and age to have something so flavourless 🙁 Nothing against the cooks, the fish was cooked perfectly. Just a poorly created dish, probably coming from head office.
