Promenade Café & Wine is located at the foot of Esplanade Riel overlooking the Red River and the new Canadian Museum for Human Rights.
We serve fabulous French comfort food at reasonable prices. We have a strong breakfast and lunch service while adding a café aspect of fair trade and organic coffees to go at this landmark St. Boniface restaurant. the evening the restaurant features affordably priced food and wine pairings as live music on Saturday nights.


Established in 2011.

Promenade Café and Wine is our modern French Restaurant in the heart of Winnipeg’s French Quarter, Saint Boniface. We also operate Le Petit Café de l’Esplanade on the iconic Esplanade Riel Bridge which serves light confections, beverages and Francophone food with seating on the bridge. Our special events facility is the Historic Fort Gibraltar which our company won the best small business of the year through Tourism Winnipeg.

The place was cozy and nicely decorated.

The place was cozy and nicely decorated. I had steak for main course and cream brulee for desert, both fantastic! It took them a bit long to bring the food but the server was very friendly and nice. Will go there again!
