Went a little before 5PM on a weekday. Great rustoc ambience. Food was delicious. Solid beers!
Great food and even better beer
It was rammed because of the raptors game, but the beer and food were excellent as always. The beef cheek sandwich was amazing. French onion soup could have used more broth, though.

Had a reservation for 9 PM. They were seating to many people without reservations that they ended up not having a table open and wanted to put us on a waiting list. Needless to say we left as that is horrible managing and organization on their staffs end. The hostess was also running around bringing food and drinks to tables and doing her job of hosting. Had stood there for 15 minutes before we even spoke to her. Unfortunate to have had that experience as it turns me away from ever returning.
A Saturday evening so we expected it to be busy. In the goose island section it was not. We had made a reservation which was ready for us. Ordered drinks and table appetizers. Got drinks. Then ordered some hamburgers and schnitzels. Waited for over 30 minutes for appetizers to come out. Two minutes later hamburgers and schnitzel showed up. Server apologetic and manager came over to apologize and took the appetizers off the bill. One hamburger was missing cheese and poutine. Manager arranged for 2 free poutines. So there were problems but they were resolved exceptionally well by the staff. The food was great as was the selection of beers. Severs were great as well. One other challenge we had was that it was cold in the restaurant and were beside an outside door which created a cold airflow. So bottom line they had some challenges which they resolved very well, we felt like valued customers. Would we go again. Maybe. The food was great for the style of restaurant but not sure if we want to risk another slow and wrong food service from this kitchen.
Had a wonderful evening before the hockey game – service was prompt and friendly – food was delivered on time, hot and of very good quality – beers of course – amazing – definitely be back
Our visit to the patio @ Goose Island Brewery was fantastic. . Enjoyed the beer, the baked Pretzels and house made beer grainy mustard was simply to die for…. Our server Jaclyn was absolutely awesome …. Highly recommend and so going back soon
A bit on the expensive side….Other than that fairly good.
We really enjoyed the food. Everything was fresh and served hot. Portion sizes were great. Service was friendly and the restaurant was very clean.

This restaurant was awesome! The service was great, I wasn’t sure what beer to get and they brought me samples on beers they thought I would enjoy before I chose. The food was also delicious!
