Upscale Canadian restaurant featuring the stunning presentation of Manitoba cuisine, an award winning all-Canadian wine list, crafty local brewers & distillers. It’s a cool place with a style and vibe all its own. “The service is truly remarkable.” Sustainably sourced prairie grass-fed beef, bison, pickerel, berries, pulses, produce… are ‘fused’ with French, Italian, Asian, South American…food culture to create a cuisine that represents the best of who we are in a freshly remodeled space. Friendly knowledgeable servers will help you navigate the menus with stories about farm families, fisher folk & foragers, winemakers, crafty brewers & distillers. We are passionate about providing you with a uniquely prairie dining experience. Salute!
We were disappointed. We had been meaning to check this place out for years, a lot of hype and a lot of ads on local radio stations etc. So we finally went. Had to nearly fight to get a reservation 10 days ahead. But we got in. We felt so lucky. And so full of hope and excitement. So, the place is small and LOUD. Service was okay, but not very fast or attentive. In fact, the owner/server was condescending, treating us like he was doing US a favour by having us there. The food was okay. The grass fed rib-eye was the worst I’ve ever had, but the sides and appetizers were very good. Our bill was $600 for 4 people, so we all expected more. I’d go here again if someone invited me for a function but otherwise no.
My latest soirée into Winnipeg dinning at The Fusion Grill. Decore is a little rough but the wine list is amazing and the waiter Scot was incredibly knowledgeable and turned out to b the owner which made a lot of sense in hindsight. We had starters of beef dumplings and beet salad which were both exquisite and omg the mains!! Duck Confit with seasonal veg was a revaluation for the palate. The GF had Arctic Char with the same mixed greens (not as good as mine imo) but still awesome. Great dinner great service I’d go again fo sho !!
We had a great meal and great service here again tonight . Try the duck or the paella you won’t be sorry , and of course , a visit with owner : waiter Scott is always fun .
“Back after over 3 years when back in town on business.
“Hello Richard! Thank you so much for joining us! We’re so glad to know you enjoyed our service and the taste of prairies with our panko crusted pickerel cheeks as well as our artic char! It would be a pleasure to see you again soon!”
