I always get the Huy's spicey Pho or the Grilled Pork Chop with fried egg, both are excellent.

I always get the Huy’s spicey Pho or the Grilled Pork Chop with fried egg, both are excellent. After 6ears of enjoying the North side location, which is awesome, they opened one order to my home. The food is fresh, dicious and the broth is…of legendary status!!! Velvety, buttery greatness!!!More

This great little neighborhood GEM is our go-to for hot, fresh and fabulous Pho and other Vietnamese delights!

This great little neighborhood GEM is our go-to for hot, fresh and fabulous Pho and other Vietnamese delights! My whole household loves the food here! It is unfailingly good, fresh and fast. I am a fan of all the Pho selections, and the combo plates…are a truly excellent value. Their deep fried squid is wonderfully tender and fresh, never fishy, their spring-rolls just right, with exactly the right amount of filling and served with handy lettuce to prevent burnt fingers, as everything comes out of the kitchen smoking hot! You order at the counter and they bring your food as it is made. They have an extensive and very reasonably priced menu, and the service is always cheerful and appreciative of our business. They do a rousing take-out business but you can eat in also. Try it next time you are in the west end!More

We stopped in after our son's lacrosse game for a quick bite.

We stopped in after our son’s lacrosse game for a quick bite. People are very friendly and greeted us warmly. There is limited seating but they also seemed to be doing a brisk take out business. They seemed quite confused bringing out the orders to…the tables. The food arrived and it was fine, but not great. Portions were fine. There is nothing terrible about this place but nothing special either.

This Vietnamese restaurant is a very simple restaurant.
4.0.0

This Vietnamese restaurant is a very simple restaurant. It provides 1/2 service. You have to order at the counter, grab your own utensils, pour your own water, grab your own sauces, etc. They bring food to the table though. And they may refill your water….They clear the table for you. There’s limited seatings…..so be prepare to wait for a table at times or just simply order takeout. The spring rolls are very good. The noodle soup is a good size. IMO, the soup is not very hot….I like it boiling hot. For some, that’s good enough. The Vietnamese coffee is too sweet to my liking. I think I will order vermicelli next time.

The portion size is bigger than any other Vietnamese restaurants and the price is a bit cheaper.

The portion size is bigger than any other Vietnamese restaurants and the price is a bit cheaper. When you get inside, you walk up to the front counter to order. Than you grab your water, utensils, your sauces, etc. Than you sit down and they…will bring your food to your table. I found that the food is quite good, however, the soup is not that hot….I like it boiling hot…..so I guess for others, the temp of the pho is ok. I will order vermicelli instead next time. I also found that the pork for my special beef noodle soup is very tough and hard to swallow. I will go back for sure!More
