Offering the first full kitchen and brewery in Winnipeg and Manitoba, Brazen Hall has set their sites high to bring Kristján Kristjánsson’s vision for playful comfort food paired with diverse brewing styles.
Having spent years in the culinary world, Kristjánsson, along with Head Chef Derek Pauls (former executive chef at Stella’s), have brought together a menu honouring the many diverse culinary cultures that we have to draw from in this great province and throughout Canada. Whether through confit, sous-vide, curing, smoking, or braising.
Established in 2016.
Kristjansson took over the helm of The Round Table, an icon in the Fort Rouge area for over 40 years, from his father, Thrainn Kristjansson, who opened the restaurant back in 1973. Realizing there was a thirst for craft beer emerging in the city, Kristjansson knew the time was ripe for Winnipeg to have its first craft brewery with a full kitchen, and began plans to close the doors to The Round Table once and for all in June 2016.

Love food , Drink and people… and bringing them all together!
This has been a tough year for local restaurants yet every time I order and pick up Brazen Hall the staff is amazing, the food is amazing and the beer is phenomenal. SuperBowl Sunday and the food arrived hot, fresh and delicious, beer cold, fresh and delicious. Support local restaurants or we won’t have any local restaurants. #BeBrazen
Meh. Good beer but the food was kinda middle of the road. Lovely staff, expedient service, and a decent venue. You could do way way better in Winnipeg but you could also do much worse.
Had beer, fish and chips and their famous Krakow burger. Delish. This will be on our mainstay list when we are in town. It’s a must go to!
