It was busy to begin with and it took a while to get the initial drinks ordered and on the table. After that….all good. Food was excellent
We were very well looked after. The service was very good. Starter portions are a little small but entrees were satisfying. One of our members had cold food which was sent back to be reheated. The server was very apologetic and prompt at resolving the issue and did not charge us for that entree. All in all, we had a lovely evening at Blink.
My meal was good, but other guests noted that theirs were less so. An example was the scallop appetizer which was a complete disappointment (basically one smaller scallop sliced thinly but costing $20). Others noted that their portions and with the experience for the related cost were also not appropriate. Of the 7 guests, 3 stated openly that they defiantly would not return to Blink. The atmosphere was good, and the service was good. I had the braised lamb soup as an appetizer and quite enjoyed it. For the main I had the duck breast which was okay, but I would not place it at the level of presentation and flavour suited for the expectation. I would sum my experience up as the evening was good, but I won’t be going back with my wife as I think there are other places that provide a better experience and value for our own personal time.
Our dinner was delicious and the service was excellent.
It was a good experience as always. The Re were two things that kept it from being 5 stars. One was that our server left for the night before we did, and the remaining staff were not attentive at all. We also ordered a $16 ravioli starter, and it was 3 raviolis in the center of a huge plate. Unfortunately, this laughable moment is probably what stuck most in our minds (I can’t even remember the other two starters were). Overall, it was still a good experience, but not as excellent as my other experiences at Blink have been.
The meal was terrific. When I ordered the wrong sized dish, they quickly recovered and changed the appetizer into a main course.
We must have hit an off night because our dinner was boring and tasteless. The char tasted muddy, more like wet cardboard. Our server was great and recommended a wonderful wine.
Our server was wonderful. We brought in a service dog in training and everyone was very respectful. The food was delicious and offered something for the vegetarians as well as the meat-eaters. Highly recommend
