Being a lover of sushi and after hearing all the recent hype about Hawaiian poke, I was desperate to sample some whilst in Vancouver. We discovered this "create your own" style eatery was on the way home from our trip to the UBC, so had...a look in. We were not disappointed! The food was fresh, the staff were very pleasant and very helpful with queries from a first timer, and there are plenty of customisable options on the menu to satisfy a wide variety of tastes. There are also pre-set bowl options available if you're a little daunted by choice! The create your own bowl I had, was exactly how I imagined the taste to be - absolutely delicious! The flavours together were just scrumptious - I could eat that forever. I'm only sad that the poke sensation doesn't seem to have hit the UK yet! (Also, plus points for the restaurant's name choice - very fun!)More
