Highlights: -Fresh, homemade dishes -Cheap menu items (I consider a $10 meal for one to be cheap in this city) -Friendly staff willing to help -Nice location (close to transit, parking, and Sunset Beach/English Bay) While I preferred when their restaurant was on the North...Shore for a quick meal, I frequently make trips to Davie just to eat here. Usually go with my girlfriend or friends, but also great for a snack on your own. The owners are friendly and actually Vietnamese (unlike many Asian restaurants), and have a lot of authentic dishes on the menu with the addition of some other interesting items (Kangaroo). I usually go with a beef soup (pho) and grilled pork sub sandwich (Bahn Mi). The ingredients are always nice and fresh (love the additional jalapenos for the soup), and the pho is made from scratch daily. I've attempted to recreate the pho at home, but with no such luck :P I'm not sure what they do to get the slight sweetness into the broth, but whatever it is works. As another added bonus, the specially crafted tea they serve is delicious. Haven't been able to pick out what ingredients go into it, but it is made specifically for the restaurant. Obviously I'm not a vegetarian, but they do have a lot of vegetarian options. Just check out the menu and ask the friendly staff!
