Don't hesitate to stop in for a bite at the wonderful old Ovaltine. I know it's in the DTES but it's really worth a visit. Been there forever (well, since1943) and it serves up very tasty comfort food. Just the basics, mind, but if you're...looking for great breakfast, a BLT, fish and chips (or similar), you can be sure to get it at the Ovaltine. Grace, the owner, is friendly and welcoming. If you're a snob and need linen tablecloths and valet parking, then go somewhere else and pay through the nose for your fancy cuisine. When you want down home comfort food like Mama used to make, and at a very reasonable price, head for the Ovaltine!More
