Ancora has a happy hour that you can enjoy on their expanded outdoor patio which overlooks False Creek and Granville Island. The view is quite beautiful and the atmosphere very relaxing. The chairs and sofas are very comfortable and tables are nicely spaced apart. Umbrellas...are large enough to protect from the hot Vancouver sunshine. The happy hour menu is fairly limited with everything edible being seafood, but since it's a seafood restaurant, that's to be expected. The prawn roll is very tasty, as are some of the other little bites. The happy hour wines by the glass are quite reasonable, as are the bottles. It's a lovely place to sit with friends and while away a quiet mid week afternoon.
