I've been on a hut for a decent poke bowl restaurant in Toronto ever since I've returned from my Hawaii trip. I was hoping this restaurant to be the one, as I work really close to it. Unfortunately, it's not, I tried their Hokkaido Dive...poke and was slightly disappointed. Aside from the long wait for them to prepare my meal, I felt like I'm eating a salad more than a poke bowl. The proportion of veggies was greater than the rice and sushi combined. For a $20 bowl/lunch, I would rather go to a Japanese restaurant for a chirashi bowl or just grab a salad elsewhere. I will however go back to try other items on their menu, the restaurant is welcoming and it is a good healthy option for a quick bite.
