Few days ago I was in the Davie Village area and saw a relative new restaurant (at least I realized its existence). I entered it, curios about that new place. The interior was simple but nice; which was later mirrored by the appearance of the...dishes on the plates. Although the server had difficulty understanding English, she was very attentive most of the time. I ordered Lemon Grass Chicken & Grilled Prawns and, as dessert, Coffee Spring Roll with Vanilla Ice Cream. The look of the main course was nice and disappointing at the same time. It was nicely arranged but the amount was not that what I would have expected at that price: just half of a chicken breast (instead of usually one) and 2 prawns (instead of usually 5 or 6). The taste was not special but ok. For that small amount of meat the rice was more than enough. If I wouldn’t like to have a dish with a reasonable amount of meat then I wouldn’t have ordered that dish which was the most expensive of its kind on the menu… The appearance of the Coffee Spring Roll was appealing too. But in that case the design and amount might have justified the price. I am not really sure how I should rate that restaurant. The arrangement of the dishes was special, but the quality/quantity of the main course didn’t match with the price. I think, considering all the facts a 3.5 to 4 is still justified.
