I’m a bit reluctant to give a less than positive review for this small business in these difficult times but our quick lunch was not very enjoyable. We had the ginger soup and ordered a toasted brioche because the soup is not served with bread....The soup comes in a disposable container- just fine given the circumstances but the soup was only so so as far as taste is concerned and so hot (microwaved maybe) that we both burned our mouths! Sounds silly but it took at least ten minutes to cool to an edible temperature. Never had that experience before- the soup must have been literally at boiling point when served. It really spoiled the taste. The brioche was fine but a nice chunk of healthy bread is a better accompaniment to soup on a cold day. We thought it was very pricey for two small soups, two brioche and two coffees the tab was $32. Nice clean surroundings but the plexiglass partitions felt a bit flimsy with tables set close together. Would have preferred more distance between tables. I guess it was the boiling soup and the price point that made it memorable.
