Having heard a fair bit about this restaurant we finally had dinner her recently -- we could only get a 900 reservation but came a bit earlier so we could have a drink at Frenchie's wine bar which is in behind Bread and Circus, which...is in behind Una Takeaway....We ordered the Caesar salad and the charred cucumber with salted cod - both dishes were excellent. Our mains - lasagne with lamb Ragu and paparadelle with mushrooms were good too - I liked my partner's lasagne more than my pasta dish. Having seen the vongole dish I was wishing I had ordered that! We shared the chocolate tart dessert and enjoyed excellent cappuccinos....they had run out of our first choice of wine so instead ordered a Pinot Nero which ultimately was a bit thin....Service overall was good and attentive. Overall a good dining experience ...What I will mention and will probably keep me from returning is the ever present and ominous music track in the background...which of course then requires everyone to speak more loudly to be heard with their dining companions....does not contribute to the dining experience. I feel sorry for the servers having to work in that kind of noisy atmosphere although perhaps many of them are already hearing impaired.
