You know how when the city slicker walks into the country bar, the music screeches to a stop and all eyes turn towards the door? That's how we felt when we walked in early one Sunday morning, and the eyes of seemingly every Chinese man...in Vancouver over the age of 70 were upon us. But that's also what makes this authentic - if it's good enough for them . . . If you know your dim sum, and that's all you're looking for, then by all means go. Luckily, that was the case for us, and it was east to overlook the dingy rundown atmosphere of this place as the food was great and we were warmly welcomed. No food on carts - you have to know what you want from the menu. For those inexperienced in the ways of dim sum or who are looking for the cart experience, there are other options.
