This is an Old School chinese restaurant, that makes traditional food from their region, which is northern China. When I say old school, I mean the restaurants from the 70's that were in an old house, and they are there to make food and serve...people... They are not out to impress with the decor. There are some dishes that I particularly like, and recommend. Cumin Lamb is fastistic and is something I have not seen elsewhere. Hot and dry eggplant is delightful, Gen. Tao Chicken is well done, my son likes the salt and pepper shrimp. Wrapping up, fried green beans are excellent at is the fried tofu... They also have "north american" chinese lunch specials if that's your jam... All in all, go for the food and enjoy the old school experience.
