I went with my granddaughter and her family to Saizen. After reading a number of negative reviews, I was reluctant to try this sushi restaurant. My granddaughter ordered a crunchy sweet potato roll and a crunchy tuna avocado roll. We didn’t finish eating them so...we packed them up and continued at home. Little did we know that the CRUNCH would come from a full avocado pit left behind in the avocado roll. From a dental point of view it is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS to leave hard unedible objects in food. They are destructive and can easily break teeth and orthodontic appliances. When you are not expecting to encounter a hard object in food, the natural protective mechanism of your bite is turned off, thus the bite force is very high. This high bite force will cause dental breakage. In my granddaughter’s case, she damaged her orthodontic appliance. That would have been bad enough on its own but the restaurant’s response was unacceptable. Even with the enclosed pictures sent by email , they didn’t answer for a whole week. We called everyday. After a whole week of calling, they supplied the manager’s email and told us to send the pictures to him. It took him another week to get back to us, and then he only gave us credit for 1 roll. (around &8.00). However, they took a very long time finding the credit on our return to the restaurant. I would give this ZERO STARS if I could.
