On our second visit, my wife and I tried a number of other dishes we did not try the first time. Beef short rib was excellent. Very tasty, especially with the sauce. Decent portion size for the price. Grilled sablefish also an excellent value. Very...fresh as well. Kara-miso duck (grilled duck breast) was ok. The spicy miso sauce had a bit of tang to it. Probably better with a different glaze. We ended up dipping the duck into the short rib sauce. Not a lot of duck for the price. Negitoro tartar was good, but not worth the value. Probably pass next time. Aburi duck was also just ok. Same duck as the grilled duck breast. Again, not a lot for the money. Needs a bit more sauce as well. Our second time having sashimi- 5 kinds. This time we selected shrimp, tuna toro, scallops, and 2 orders of hamachi. Very fresh seafood. However, 3 pieces of each, it's hard to share. For the price, we'll probably pass next time.
