Discovered this restaurant in 2019 and although prices have creeped up since then thanks to the pandemic, it's still one of the best Chinese food take-outs for value. Portions are large, ingredients are very fresh, and business always seems to be steady. They also offer...bonus fried rice and eggrolls for mid-to-large orders, so that's a nice touch. Dishes are flavorful and follow the traditional tastes of Canadian palates -- if you want more adventurous variety and seasonings Chinatown is the destination. Szechuan dishes are mildly spiced but tasty. Chowmeins have lots of fresh veggies and meats, ribs are lean not fatty, and eggrolls are the open-ended variety with more stuffing. A family run restaurant with very welcoming staff, they've earned their popularity with local patrons.
