We've been to Cravings three times in the past month, so we obviously enjoy it. It's a pleasant environment and the food is usually really great. This visit was an off one. Mainly around service. It was half empty, even through I had requested a booth we were shown to a table. I requested the empty booth, again. Don't hostesses read their reservation requests and plan ahead? After seated, discovered that the table was sticky and needed to be wiped down. Our waitress asked for our drink order once, we had just been handed the menues, and then disappeared. Oh well, we'll order dinner first. Last time I enjoyed the turkey schnitzel so much I ordered it again. It tasted great but the turkey was half the portion size and unfortunately one of the acorn squashes on my plate had gone bad, which I discovered after it was in my mouth. I also had to get cutlery from another table, where is that server again? When I asked for spoons for my dessert I was told sorry we are short spoons. What? Remember the place has half empty on a Wednesday evening. The sticky toffee pudding and cheese cake were delicious. Will eat here again, because the food is so good and prices are reasonable but will hope for better service.
