In 99% of restaurants when I went during peak hours (Thurs, Friday, Saturday 7pm); the quality and service are most always degraded. With so many people, it's just the laws of physics. Wife and I went to Solymar on a Saturday afternoon 3pm and all...was 100% fantastic. I even applauded the female server for a spectacular performance, to the embarrassment of my wife, LOL. OK, so having got that out of the way, we ordered the Ceviche appetizer which came with jumbo shrimps. Perfect for 2 persons, best I have ever had, ever ! Wife ordered the sea food platter and I got the 16 ounce rib steak Peruvian style. We shared, which made a perfect surf and turf. Indescribably delicious, you must try !!! And again, impeccable service if you go before the mad rush at supper hours. Also, SAQ wine prices + $5. Overall could be a little pricey; you get what you pay for.
