When I lived in Calgary 20 plus years ago this was one of my favourite restaurants. During a recent trip I just had to diner there and I wasn't disappointed. It is still owned for over 40 years by the same family. The food is...incredible with huge portions. I just had to have a Montreal smoked meat but their supplier hadn't delivered it so I had a Spicy Italian Sausage served on a Kaiser bun with sautéed onion, peppers, provolone cheese with Caesar salad. The grilled sausage was cooked to perfection and was a quality product which was likely a Spalumbo. The restaurant is immaculate but not busy as it was off meal time. As a resilt the waitress was doing other things so service was a little slow but relaxing.
