Love this restaurant and wholeheartedly recommend it! (but see the second paragraph for a disclaimer) It was just my husband and me for this visit so we split the rib eye. Last time we were there we had four of us and shared the bistecca all fiorentina and were blown away. The rib eye was not as good, but our expectations were set too high for a different cut and preparation. A gentlemen beside us had the lasagna and reported it was superb. We shared the daily pasta special, which was a lamb ragu and it was delicious. The texture of the house made pasta was remarkable.. We also had the burrata with grilled pear antipasti. It was literally such a delight to behold. I know that sounds a bit over the top, but seriously, it was poetry to eat. The pear looked like a little forest floor. I would order it again just to look at it, but the house made burrata was very good in and of itself. I have only one thing to say in the negative and if seems to be becoming the trend: the drink prices are ridiculous. My husband doesn't drink, so we don't get a bottle. Glasses of wine are only available as 5oz pours and then a half liter (about 31oz). So for 2 glasses of wine over the coarse of my dinner I added about $75 to the bill. And that was for entry level California cab.
