Over the past 2+ years, Bashu has become our go-to place for Chinese food in South Granville area of Vancouver. We try to go for dinner 1-2 times per week and have, over the past 2+ years, always enjoyed great food and attentive service. I...especially like the sizzling beef and bell peppers or the shredded pork with chili and garlic. My wife likes their Wednesday fish special, BBQ whole fish with Sichuan chili sauce . Their sliced fish w/Sichuan peppers in hot oil is also our favorite On the cold winter nights, the Hot and Sour Soup is fabulous too - luscious, and spicy. We always have leftovers to take home, in fact, we almost always get two meals out of every visit. In the summer months, they have a nice outdoor patio to enjoy with reasonably-price adult beverages. The portions are generous, the food delicious, the prices reasonable, and the service is top-notch. On those days we arrive home after a long day not wanting to search for a dinner spot, we are happy we have Bashu as a favorite go-to choice.
