When I read about a bistro with a Newfie accent, I was rather incredulous, but we decided to try it out. We are so glad we did. Everything about our dinner was superb. The décor was bright and colourful, with artwork on the walls, the...service from the proprietor was cheerful, informative and very attentive, and from our waitress helpful, professional and charming. And the food was fabulous as well. I had an excellent Caesar salad followed by a great lobster roll accompanied by sinfully good frites. My wife had the soup of the day and the beef short rib. Lots of other interesting looking things on the menu that we will have to save for our next trip to Ottawa. Altogether one of the best evenings out for a long time, although just matched the following evening by the much more expensive and upscale Les Fougères in Chelsea. And everything was great value as well.
