Batifole is not a fancy French restaurant with fancy dishes. The food is just simple, but good. I feel I eat in a friend's home. The server always has a lovely smile on her face. She was very helpful and provided good suggestions on both food and wine. We ordered daily special John Dory, and the Flat Iron Steak from the regular menu. Both dishes were delicious. I liked the creamy sauce of the fish. The quality of the steak was good and it was cooked perfectly - real medium rare. The chef, Geffroy, loves to get out from the kitchen to understand what people like or dislike - professional and friendly.
