Headed over to the Level One Game Pub with a group of NGO coworkers. We had reserved several tables on the second floor so we could share a meal and play some games. What a great idea! The food and drinks were all good, the...servers were very attentive, and we all worked through several board games before a small group of us decided to give Pandemic a try. Players have to actively collaborate as we race around the world setting up research stations, finding cures, and battling ever-increasing infection rates and new outbreaks. Happy to say that as we neared the end, we strategized and successfully cured the last of four diseases just before the cards ran out. Running out of cards would have ended the game, and the world itself. We enjoyed every aspect of Level One, and so happy we saved the world! Now only if we could do that in real life!More
