We visited the Hastings & Campbell location, which is relatively new. It doesn't have much atmosphere and the interior was quite cool (tempertature-wise). It seems to be in a converted garage. Seating is limited. There are only 4 tables on the west side of the...counter and a living room arrangement on the east side with a sofa, 2 armchairs and a coffee table. There are also 4 stools at a counter looking out on Hastings Street. The first thing that hits you when you enter is the wonderful smells. Eight soups were on offer when we were there; 2 were vegetarian and 2 were vegan. A soup and sandwich were very reasonably priced and they were delicious. Their website has nutritional info for each of their soups in case you're watching your diet or sodium, etc. They seem to do a lot of take-out at this location (which may explain the low table to customer ratio). They were very busy around noon, when many local workers seem to descend on the place. The crowd thinned out after 12:30, so if you're not in a rush, this might be the best time to come. I look forward to checking out the other locations.
