We ate here recently- we have been to Bubba Gumo in Florida and this restaurant in Edmonton ..,….a few years ago- and impressed with the food, service and the decor. on this occasion we were really disappointed!! The decor is the same but the food...wasn’t - it was just fried food thrown on a plate!!! The service was slow and the waitress forgot to tell us about a change in our order Unlike in the past - where the servers were always interested in filling you in with trivia from the film- the servers on this occasion probably had no clue who or what Forrest Gump was! We did get an apology from the staff about the poor menu- blaming it on Covid- but that’s just an excuse!! Yes Covid has caused problems worldwide, most restaurants have upped their game and improved their services to combat the pandemic, obviously Bubba Gump hasn’t!!!More
