First of all it has no signage whatsoever nor any street number off of Main St. So I ended up circling the block two times before I found it. I arrived early to this restaurant on a rainy evening at around 5:45pm. Luckily it had...3 parking slots in front of the entrance. I tried calling them to ask if I could enter early. The cashier then told me that they open exactly at 6pm and that our whole party had to be present to be seated. At exactly 6pm the door opened and we entered. We were seated beside the service counter. The restaurant was nicely decorated but pleasantly reminded me positively of a relative's apartment over the holidays with all the nice goodies. We got the small menu and decided on the shoyu and miso ramen. These were probably the best ramen bowls I have had in the whole Vancouver. Even better than the ones in the other branches. Something about the rich creamy chicken broth infused with bonito oil and onions. Describing it gives me a ramen craving. The pork slices were melt in your mouth and the combination of red and green onions gave just the right contrast to the pork, egg and creamy broth. The miso ramen was just as awesome but a bit fuller in flavor due to the miso paste. I prefer a less salty ramen so I would probably order the shoyu when I go back today.
