I stumbled on Darling while strolling the Saint-Lurent street with my wife on a Saturday night. We had never been to this place before. Being in the mood for a drink and some snacks, we went in and were really surprised by everything that this...place had to offer. It is located on one of the most bar-busy streets in Montreal, so you are not short of options if you decide to visit Darling for a drink only. The restaurant has a unique urban industrial decoration. It is a mix of colours and style that is reflective of the vivacity of Montreal. They have high tables, bar chairs, lounges, etc. so you are definitely finding a seating area that suits your needs (just make sure you get there early as this place fills up quickly). I was there for drinks and was in a mood for cocktails. They have a short list but they make it up with the tastiness of the drinks. I loved every single one of my selection. We also got a few snacks but the carrot cake stands out as simply out of this world. I highly recommend it The service is just as perfect as the setting. Our waiter was simple perfect, fast and very courteous.
