This is the first place I went to in Edmonton. Service is friendly. In person, they will offer substitutes, but not for take out. It's a nice restaurant with a lot of character. The portion sizes are huge. A single meal can definitely last two...days. Dinner for four lasted four days for two people. I can't eat it, but the wonton soup and special rice was very much appreciated by my guest. The food is good and well packaged. It came piping hot. The Shanghai noodles, lemon chicken and vegetable fried rice are my favourites. The ginger beef got a bit soggy and was not spicy or crispy. That was the only disappointment. Hands down the best thing is the Mantou. I never had these before, but fried bread and condensed milk as a dipping sauce is an amazing combination.
