Tired after a long flight and not willing to pay the inflated prices of the hotel resturant, we found this place. When we visited it was quiet (mid-late afternoon). Service was prompt and friendly. The steak sandwich was so much more than I was expecting....For a start I was asked how I wanted my steak cooked ... not my usual experience in a pub. When it came, the steak was a perfectly cooked one inch thick medium rare delight. Juicy on the inside and properly caramelised on the crust. And this was just for a cheap sandwich! The chips (fries) were also a stand-out, crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, freshly cooked and delicious. A real surprise find .... and the beer was good too.
