We have been to this restaurant numerous times over the years. We have never been disappointed with any meal. The only restaurants allowed open during the Covid-19 crisis are restaurants that offer take out meals. La Chronique now offers take out meals. Since the lockdown,...this is our third time ordering meals there. Our last take out meal was on May 2, 2020. For the first course, I had the lobster salad, which was delicious. The main course was Japanese Wagyu beef. I have never had Wagyu beef in my life and it was to die for!! It was incredibly tender. Amazing! Dessert was a pineapple mousse!! Fabulous!! My partner had some of my lobster salad and dessert. In terms of the main course he had the rabbit with sauce chasseur. Rabbit with hunter's sauce. He said that it was first rate. Please note that the restaurant does not deliver so you have to arrange to pick it up. Every Tuesday the restaurant sends out, to people on their mailing list, the menu for that week. It is, obviously, a limited menu. They also offer wine at a 25% discount. We are very happy to support this restaurant during this most difficult time.
