Booked a reso for 11am - to take my partner and his mother out for a Christmas gathering. We were sat at 11am and our tea pots did not hit the table until 11:45am. The waitress was not attentive - almost ignoring us but taking care of other tables. By 12:15 we decided that we have been ignored enough, and got up and left. Sitting for over an hour with warm, not hot tea pots. And no food. The manager Ryan was called upon to be spoken with and all he had to say is sorry. When we notified the server we were leaving, she also said okay. No one tried to rectify the situation. For this being one of the 5 five star restaurants in Toronto- we are super disappointed. It ruined our entire day. And my mother in law came from out of town for this event. Hoping to get a phone call from Ryan like he had promised. We would like to notify management of this horrible experience. We will not be recommending the Ritz Toronto to anyone and will in fact tell them not to go. Horrible service and even worse customer service.
