The food at Haps is always delicious! Reasonable prices, huge portions, and friendly service. Ordered takeout this visit, due to COVID-19. The 10% surcharge to do so was a bit of an unpleasant surprise. We have been trying to support local businesses during the pandemic...& order right from them, rather than from a food delivery company who will eat into 20-30% of the restaurant’s profits. I think with half of their tables closed off, they should reconsider charging this fee. During regular times/regular operations, this fee might make sense. We always tip for take out service & have increased the sum during C-19; we know it’s affecting the amount of tips servers are bringing in. Anyways, it was a bit of a money grab that we were not completely in agreement about. Only an extra $4 maybe but irritating nonetheless. Food was excellent. They packaged up utensils, condiments & everything we possibly needed to enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Staff are always friendly. Menu is amazing.
